Vertigo is a disorder of the balance system that makes people feel that the world is moving/ bouncing/ spinning around them. It can be alarming when it first starts and have a large impact on quality of life if it continues.

They can be diagnosed by an ear surgeon following questions and a thorough examination. Questions around the duration of the vertigo, associated hearing loss and headaches are essential.

Go and seek help from an ear specialist. They will ask questions and do an examination. Once the cause is identified they will be able to recommend a course of action that will either stop or considerably reduce the vertigo.
